David Beckham strips to his underwear AGAIN

 It’s what every man needs to keep him warm as the last days of an unusually clement summer play out before the return of the wind, cold, and general misery that is our British winter – fresh underwear.


At least you do if you’re David Beckham and your new range of autumnal briefs is on the verge of hitting the shops.

The 37-year-old football ambassador has been peeling off - again - as he embarks on a new promotional campaign for his latest line of underwear for high-street chain H&M.

In a new ad for the Bodywear brand, Beckham showcases the range in his own inimitable way – with a significantly older range of brooding looks into the middle distance.

A brief behind the scenes glimpse, available on YouTube, sees the former England skipper being readied for what appears to be a moody looking series of shots, amongst them one in which he wears only his underwear, his menagerie of tattoos on full display.

 A number of shots from the new campaign – which also features clothing that can actually be worn over one’s underwear – were later posted on picture messaging service Instagram.

Speaking of his latest collection, Leytonstone born Beckham said: 'I love the heritage athletic style of the new pieces in my Bodywear collection at H&M. The vests, pajama pants and raglan sleeve tops are already like wardrobe favorites for me that I know I’ll wear all season long.

‘It was great to shoot them in an old-fashioned East End changing room. It was like I had gone right back to my roots.'

The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Los Angeles Galaxy star was previously seen showing off his pants –and his impressively toned physique – in a memorable H&M ad directed by British film-maker Guy Richie.

In it, a practically naked Beckham races through a Los Angeles suburb in hot pursuit of his dressing gown after it gets caught in the door of a Range Rover.

The ad includes one or two shameless close-ups of his pert behind, with many speculating whether or not the bum was in fact his.

‘I can say the crotch is mine and the backside is mine as well,’ he told French TV show Le Grand Journal at the time. ‘I heard this the other day. Someone said that I had a stand-in for my bum, but no, I can confirm that’s my bum.’
