The 26th edition of the beauty pageant took place in Yenogoa, Bayelsa tonight the 20th of July, 2013 and 18-year-old Anna Ebiere representing Bayelsa State was crowned the winner.
She will represent Nigeria at the Miss World pageant later this year.
The top 5 finalists along with Anna Ebiere (Miss Bayelsa) were Miss Imo (Stephanie Okwu) as first runner up, Miss Adamawa (Powede Lawrence) as second runner up, Miss Kaduna(Enoma Agboniko) as third runner up & Miss Abuja (Melissa Devidal) as fourth runner up. The first runner up, Miss Imo (Stephanie Okwu) will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe pageant.
Other winners include, Miss Photogenic – Miss Kano, Miss Amity – Miss Akwa-Ibom, Miss Charismatic – Tomilayo Salami (Miss Kwara) & Best Traditional Costume – Miss Bayelsa.
Anna will compete with other beauty queens from around the world at the Miss World 2013 Finale in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The 1st runner-up 19 year old Stephanie Okwu representing Imo state, will represent Nigeria in the Miss Universe 2013 competition in Moscow, Russia while 20 year old Powede Lawrence representing Adamawa state, will represent Nigeria in the Miss Tourism 2013 competition.
