A Turkish TV presenter, Miss Kansu has been sacked for wearing an “unacceptable” dress. She was accused of taking her fashion sense to the “extreme”.

“We don’t intervene against anyone, but this is too much. It is unacceptable,” a Government spokesman said.

However, Turkish citizens are divided over the issue. Some have said it is a welcome development as it would make ladies learn to be moderate in their dressing, especially those who appear on television, as kids do watch too. While some think (ladies especially) that she shouldn't have been sacked.
