The Russian owner of Chelsea Football Club has quietly sold his huge Central London mansion in Lowndes Square, Knightsbridge, after more than a year of trying to attract a buyer.

Mr Abramovich, pictured with girlfriend Daria, had obtained planning permission to convert his Lowndes Square property from nine separate flats into a single family home

A spokesman for Mr Abramovich last night confirmed that he has completed the deal for about £30 million – well below the £50 million he was seeking last summer, i hope Chelsea is not making this guy go broke gradually, well he can involve his aboki friend Dangote...hehe!
