Abuja based Philanthropist has been honoured last weekend with the best diplomatic honour by the United Nations. Despite all about Habiba Abubakar,
sources close to her said she is super generous. She now joined group of Angelina Jolie, Chika Ike etc. It's the right crown to the right head.
Her foundation for the elderly and the poor is the first of its kind in the whole of west Africa governed by a woman. Habiba does not solicits donations from anybody. She runs her NGO by her hard earned money. She has been known for the strong idea against running NGO by asking donations from the public.
She revealed that most people running NGOs also need help, and in celebrity world is like completing their profile by opening one even though some of them too
need the support they are trying to give others, while some use the NGOs to extort money from the public.
According to Habiba, since is your idea to run an NGO then you shouldn't disturb the public by asking donations up and down. This uniqueness is what has earned her the honour vested in her by the United Nation on the commemoration of its 2013 International day of peace. Habiba being a spouse of an Ambassador know exactly what is expected of her.
According to reports her Ambassadorial status comes with the benefits of an International UN ID, customized number plate, access to attending seminars and conferences both here at home and abroad, doing humanitarian services and award certificate among other benefits from the United Nation.
