Mob beats up man for fondling a woman's butt in a church gathering in Kenya

A man was beaten to a pulp for caressing a woman’s buttocks in Gikomba. The incident took place at an open church gathering near the famous market.


Witnesses said the man has a habit of standing behind women in such gatherings, and “enjoys” touching their buttocks and hips.

“He is not alone. They are in a group and they like standing behind women, pretending to be listening, but their aim is different,” said a witness, who has seen them harass women.

The mob attacked the man after the young woman raised an alarm when he began touching her buttocks gently.

Sources said the same people have been seen in Gikomba, Bus Station, and Muthurwa.
