For most of us, when we get caught in the rain with no umbrella or tissue we have to grin and bear it, but for one rich race-goer this wasn’t an option and he decided to allegedly wipe his forehead with a $100 note.
The video of the man, who was reportedly at the Galway Races in Ireland, apparently dampening his brow with the substantial amount of cash has become popular online.
The 15-second clip has gained more than 250,000 views so far on YouTube, with most people outraged by the man’s actions.
It shows the smartly dressed race-goer struggling to find something to clean his face with after being caught in the rain. After a quick search he dips into his pocket and takes out what looks like a $100 note and then wipes his face with it.
One viewer thought the man was just seeking attention, adding: ‘He got what he wanted, his face on TV. Congrats. Mission succeeded. Hit the lights when you leave.’
There has also been some dispute as to whether the man was actually using a real note or it was just a handkerchief with a money print on it.
