Gossip: Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose reveal that they legally married

They were spotted going to a Los Angeles courthouse last week to organise their marriage license.

And now Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have revealed that they secretly tied the knot on Monday.

The 25-year-old rapper was the first to announce the happy news on his Twitter page.

He hinted that the pair had informal nuptials, perhaps at the courthouse, informing his fans that they were planning a more formal affair this coming Fall.

'Me and Amber got married today. Weddings this fall. Thought I'd let yall know,' he wrote to his over 10 million fans.

Only moments later, Amber, 29, also took to her own Twitter page to share her joy over the nuptials.
'Yay me & my Baby are officially married!!!' she wrote.

According to TMZ, Wiz and Amber stopped into a Los Angeles courthouse last Tuesday to sought out some very important paper work.

Sources confirmed to the website that they were both at the marriage license kiosk to organise their license.

Once a couple receive their license they have 90 days to get married before it expires.

The pair announced their engagement in March 2012 with Amber calling the father of her child her 'husband' right up until their Monday nuptials.

Amber has always been excited about the prospect of marrying her man and said last year that she could not wait to be Mrs. Khalifa.

'I think about it constantly. Like all day,' she said at the time. 'No matter what I'm doing I always have my wedding on my mind. So I'm really excited.'

The couple became first-time parents when Sebastian was born in February.

At the BET Awards earlier this month, Amber said the couple's son was growing very fast and was already larger than the average baby.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: 'Motherhood is amazing, I'm so happy. He's big, he's like the size of a six month old. The doctor says he's above average, he's going to be tall like the both of us.'

Proud father Wiz - who stands at six foot three tall - is completely besotted with the tot and admitted he just spends his time trying to make Sebastian smile.

He said: 'He just kills us with his smile, we do whatever we can to make him smile.'

Amber and Khalifa got together shortly after Amber split from Kanye West.

She had dated the rapper on and off from 2008 until summer 2010.

After they parted ways, Amber later revealed that Kim Kardashian was the reason behind their split.

She claimed that while Kim was dating Reggie Bush she was also cheating with Rose's then-boyfriend Kanye.

Kim and Kanye are now in a committed relationship and Kim welcomed the couple's first child, a baby girl called North West, just over three weeks ago.
