Gossip: Jay-Z reveals how he deals with

The frequently guarded Jay-Z has offered up some interesting insights into his life via a new radio interview... and he's even touched upon the travails of his protege, Rihanna.

Speaking to Hot97, the legendary rapper and producer was candid with host Angie Martinez when asked if he feels like intervening when he sees protege Rihanna doing something he may not approve of.

Ha said 'That's not my place, no, again, I can't control the outcome of her life. I can't intervene, I can give advice when asked and that's it. I can provide information and then life has to play out, life has to happen.'

Jay- Z, real name Shawn Carter, also revealed that he has a text relationship with President Obama and chatted about his friend Jack White and daughter Blue Ivy.
