Although the Barack Obama brand in Nigeria has taken a beating in recent months especially since news came that once again he planned to snub Nigeria during his just concluded Africa tour, the fact remains that the US president remains a very popular figure in Nigeria.
Everywhere you turn, there is an Obama memorabilia, hostels and schools named in his honour, articles written in his praise, and so on and so forth. We can now add this “creative” barbing salon’s signboard. We cannot tell if the fact that it is Obasanjo’s hair that is being shaved has any extra significance. Wait a second! When last did anyone see any hair on Obasanjo’s head? Ah, probably doesn’t matter.
