Fashola’s father to be reportedly buried in N100mn vault amidst heavy security

Ademola Fashola, the father of the Lagos State governor, is to be buried in a N100 million tomb in Lagos, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt.


The remains of Mr. Fashola, 79, who died on Monday after a brief illness, will be interred at Vaults and Gardens, a private cemetery in Ikoyi, Lagos.

There is heavy security presence around the cemetery, with armed police officers barring people, including journalists, from entering the cemetery.

The deceased’s corpse is yet to arrive at the cemetery as at 2:10 p.m. and family members and friends continue to wait.
