It may sound strange, but there are more victims of cyber crime in the society than there are perpetrators. And contrary to the belief that scammers are smart, strategic and on top of the game, they merely harp on your inability to pay attention to details than do any major brain work.
In fact they are cowards and careful look into their modus operandi would expose their ignorance and timidity. Here at Glamtech, we want to make sure you are never a victim. That’s why we’ve chosen to open your eyes to the holes in their trap which you may have never thought of. We’ll try to bring a couple of samples every week and let you into their lies.
Now take this for example:
The scam is: You get an email from “The California Human Right Foundation (CHRF US)” inviting you to a global Congress meeting against Economic Crisis, Child Protection & HIV/AIDS Treatment, Prostitution, Sex Work and forced Labour.
Email sample:

The target: Non Governmental Organizations, Charity Organizations, Well meaning individuals, people who want to travel abroad.
The catch: These guys would ask you to send money to pay for your hotel room in California, and promise to cover all other costs. As soon as you send the money, you will never hear from them again.
The fact: There is no California Human Rights Foundation.
Attention to details: Had you ignored their link, went to google to check them out, contact relevant institutions from the hosting country among other due processes, you would have easily found out.
