News: Jonathan, Security Chiefs Meet to Discuss Composition of LTF, Others

In what appeared to be a routine security meeting the nation’s security chiefs Monday met with President Goodluck Jonathan for two hours atthe Presidential Villa.

Although nothing is known of the outcome of the meeting, a source said it may not be unconnected with the declaration of state of emergency in three states of the north-east geopolitical zone and the proliferation of oil theft in the country, which had necessitated the National Economic Council (NEC) to approve the establishment of a Legal Task Force (LTF) to be headed by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Muhammad Bello Adoke, who was also at the meeting.
