Gossip: North West's first family outing

New parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West apparently took a step towards independence on July Fourth by taking their baby to a fun family party.

The soiree was at Bruce Jenner's summer rental in Malibu, thrown on July 4th so the family could watch the public fireworks from their home.

It was apparently baby North's first family outing, according to Us Weekly.

The baby, born five weeks early, left hospital on June 21.

Bruce, a former Olympian now married to socialite Kris Jenner, is Kim’s stepfather.

Presumably, the new family enjoyed some time on the beach front property, where Kim's half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, have been photographed.

Party photos from that weekend show Kendall and Kylie playing by the water and hanging on the balcony with Kylie's rumoured boyfriend, actor Jaden Smith.

A source told the magazine that Kim and Kanye are having a great time cooing over their daughter.
