Gossip: Jay Z got an SMS from Barack Obama

Barack Obama has said since at least 2010 that Jay-Z's tunes are on his iPod playlist, and the mega-star's equally famous wife Beyonce has sung at the White House. But Jay-Z told a radio station on Thursday that he has gotten text messages from the Commander-in-Chief too.

'I've spoken to him on the phone and had texts from Obama. Of course,' the rapper said.
'Yes, that's happened, and it's amazing,' he added, after the host playfully jabbed him for sounding 'arrogant' and 'obnoxious.'
