Gossip: Jamie Foxx treats his family to speedboat ride

He loves living the high life as one of Hollywood's favourite stars.

And Jamie Foxx makes sure his family is part of the jet-set too, taking them for a speedboat ride in Saint Tropez on Sunday.


The jolly comedian turned actor seemed in high spirits as he got off the craft and made his way onto the pier with his two daughters in tow.

The 45-year-old Miami Vice favourite looked as trendy as ever in a sky blue T-shirt, white trousers, trainers and a life jacket.

And once he had disembarked and removed his own, he helped his girls Corinne, 18, and four-year-old Annalise out of their buoyancy aids.

Of course, with films such as Valentine's Day and Django Unchained under his belt, Jamie is bound to be recognised wherever he goes.

And despite the mundanity of it all, the generous star was more than happy to pose with an excited holidaymaker.

The sunshine break will have been welcome for the Oscar-winner, as he had been doing the rounds to promote his latest film White House Down.

He recently made headlines after comparing President Obama to controversial NBA player LeBron James.

The Rio 2 actor explained how the Commander-in-Chief won his respect, saying: 'Watching how he deals [with everything], he's like LeBron James.

'Either he's at the top of the mountain or they put him at the bottom of the ocean.'
