No doubt they’ll be celebrating with a lavish party or a posh dinner at some point, but as Jay-Z’s latest album goes platinum, the rapper’s devoted wife Beyonce celebrated in her own unique way - by posting an adorable retro photo of her man.
Jay’s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail was only released to the public on Tuesday but already the critically acclaimed disc has gone platinum after selling a million copies through it's unique deal with Samsung.
The accomplishment prompted Beyonce to take to her twitter page to post a sweet tribute to her man.
Making reference to her own track, Bey shared a school graduation photo of Jay, writing the famous line from her recent tune across the pic.
Jay’s proud wife added the simple caption: ‘Platinum #MagnaCarta.’
The rapper’s latest achievement is thanks to his deal with Samsung, which saw the savvy music mogul sell a million records via the Samsung Galaxy app, forcing the Recording Industry Association of America to rewrite their own rules and include digital album sales in their count.
